Who do you do this for? Who are your target customers?

The more precisely you can define your customer base, the better able you are to understand and meet their needs. The days of one product for all are well and truly gone and specialisation is now the norm. Even mass marketers like breweries are having to develop multiple brands to satisfy ever-smaller segments in a fragmenting market. This of course is good news for the smaller, fleet of foot targeted business. For an effective Vision Statement you need to demonstrate that you understand exactly who are targeting with your product or service. The next section is about why they will prefer you.
